At the dawn of creation, Lucifer ignited the fires of rebellion. Now, after an eternity, the gates of Hell are broken and the angels of the abyss walk the Earth once more. In the so-called City of Angels, a terrible earthquake sparks three days and nights of rioting, and tales of the end of the world. The Devil himself walks the burning streets of Los Angeles. Answering the clarion call, demons congregate in the modern Babylon, searching for answers and for blood. This anthology features ten... Crime and anti-social behavior is a symptom of a much deeper problem and building prisons won't lessen crime one bit. The deeper problem is a social economic and political system that survives by one group of people and exploiting and oppressing another group. Raze the Walls! is reprinting this pamphlet as it presents an overview of the ideas our group works under. Though this article is several years old, it still represents a valid analysis of prisons and the prison mentality that pervades our society. We've decided to continue publishing and distributing this article despite our personal and political break with the author, Michael Lee. Lee has proven to us that he has abandoned the ideas and ideals which he sets out here and which led him to... Topics: anarchism, prison

We demonstrate a tunneling and rectification behavior in bilayer graphene. A stepped dielectric top gate creates a spatially modulated electric field, which opens the band gap in the graphene and produces an insulating region at the p-n interface. A current-voltage relationship exhibiting differential resistance peak at forward bias stems from the tunneling current through the insulating region at the p-n interface. The tunneling current reflects singularities in the density of states modified... Source: http://arxiv.org/abs/1111.3428v1
